Al Manar also offers design and consultancy services, providing end-to-end solutions for building systems and infrastructure. The company focuses on reliable project delivery, safety, and long-term client partnerships. Role Description The Electrical Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works on construction and maintenance projects. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with electrical drawings and specifications, conducting inspections and electrical testing, and monitoring work quality and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to plan work schedules, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion of project milestones. The Electrical Site Engineer will also support commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine electrical maintenance, while maintaining accurate documentation and reports for site activities and inspections. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Electrical Engineering knowledge, including practical understanding of Electricity principles and building services systems.
• Candidates should possess Site Supervision skills, including coordination of work teams, monitoring progress, and enforcing safety and quality standards on site.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Testing capabilities, including inspection, verification, and commissioning of installations in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance experience, including fault diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of local UAE regulations, standards, and safety practices for electrical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Previous experience in building projects (commercial, or industrial) in a similar site engineering role is preferred.
