Job Purpose To lead and manage Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) activities across airport projects, ensuring the safe delivery of ELV, ICT, Security Systems, Fire Alarm, BMS, and MEP installations within live operational airport environments while maintaining full compliance with airport authority regulations, client requirements, UAE legislation, and international HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise HSE Officers and Safety Supervisors across multiple airport project work fronts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response procedures.
• Ensure compliance with airport authority requirements, airside and landside regulations, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and project safety standards.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, safety observations, and site walkdowns to identify and mitigate risks.
• Oversee safe execution of installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities for:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Public Address Systems
• Structured Cabling & ICT Infrastructure
• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Integrated Security Systems
• LV Electrical and ELV Systems
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, airport-specific inductions, and awareness campaigns.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, unsafe acts, near misses, and security violations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and ensure adherence to project and airport HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with airport authorities, consultants, clients, and stakeholders on all HSE matters.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics, KPI dashboards, and management presentations.
• Support emergency response planning, drills, and business continuity requirements within operational airport facilities.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through behavioural safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs. Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory).
• IOSH Managing Safely (Preferred).
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification (Preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of HSE experience within MEP, ELV, Safety & Security, or Construction Contracting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory HSE role.
• Mandatory experience working on airport, aviation, transportation, or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of airport Permit-to-Work systems, operational constraints, and stakeholder coordination requirements.
• Familiarity with UAE HSE legislation, ICAO standards, and ISO 45001 requirements.
