# Sales Director – Insurance Technology (New Business)

## The role

Our client is looking for a hands-on sales hunter to win new insurance customers from its Dubai base. You will build your own pipeline, open doors with senior decision-makers and lead complex enterprise software deals from first contact to signed contract.

You will sell insurance technology that helps insurers modernise core operations, including policy administration, underwriting, claims and reinsurance.

## What you’ll do

- Identify target insurers and build a qualified pipeline through direct outreach, industry relationships and partner referrals.
- Lead discovery with business and technology executives to understand where legacy systems or manual processes are slowing down underwriting, policy servicing or claims.
- Work with presales and product teams to tailor demos, respond to RFPs and build the business case for platform modernisation.
- Own deal strategy, pricing, commercial negotiations and closure. Keep the CRM pipeline and revenue forecast current.
- Meet new-logo bookings targets and hand over signed deals to implementation teams with clear scope and customer commitments.

## What you’ll bring

- 8–15 years of enterprise B2B technology sales experience, including direct sales of insurance software or insurtech platforms to insurance carriers.
- A track record of personally sourcing and closing new-logo deals and meeting individual revenue targets.
- Experience selling core insurance systems, policy administration, underwriting, claims, reinsurance or comparable insurance platforms.
- Ability to engage C-suite buyers and functional leaders, and to navigate enterprise procurement, RFPs and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
- UAE or wider GCC insurance market experience is preferred. Exposure to general, life, health or takaful insurance is valuable.
