Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with a strong background in designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will work closely in a cross-functional product team comprising Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to co-develop cutting-edge digital products. This role requires deep expertise in backend technologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop digital products and platforms that enhance customer and employee experience.
·Contribute across the full technology stack—from backend services, database, and DevOps infrastructure to APIs and integrations.
·Use Agile engineering practices and modern development methodologies to deliver robust and scalable software.
·Write clear and efficient code, design tests for features and enhancements, and ensure timely product deliveries.
·Communicate and collaborate with internal and external teams to manage dependencies, timelines, and expectations.
·Mentor junior team members and model best practices in Agile software development and engineering excellence.
·Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) efforts and own automation across the development lifecycle.
·Promote code quality, testing, documentation, and architecture best practices across the engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·15++ years of hands-on software development experience in Java-based enterprise applications.
·Proficiency in Java 7/8, Java EE, and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Messaging, JPA, ORM, and Maven.
·Expertise in developing Cloud-Native Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.
·Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
·Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka and databases like MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, Oracle, MySQL, or MSSQL.
·Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, Single Sign-On (SSO), LDAP, and Search technologies.
·Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
·Familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
·Experience in design patterns, application security, code refactoring, and distributed systems.
·Working knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
·Proficiency in unit testing frameworks like JUnit and TDD/BDD practices.
·Familiarity with Functional Programming concepts is a plus.
·Excellent communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
