Role & responsibilities.

Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, and system administration.
Lead IT teams, manage resources, and ensure efficient service delivery.
Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, software licensing, and technology procurement.
Ensure data security, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Drive digital transformation, system upgrades, automation, and technology integration.
Monitor IT performance, resolve critical technical issues, and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with senior management and business stakeholders on technology investments and risk management.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 5 to 10 years in IT, including relevant team leadership or IT management experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
Technical skills: IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and IT service management.
Leadership skills: Team management, strategic planning, decision-making, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
Certifications: ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or cloud certifications are advantageous, depending on the role.
Industry experience: Experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, and technology projects in medium to large organisations.
Location: Willingness to work in the UAE, with knowledge of UAE data protection and regulatory requirements preferred.
Communication: Strong English communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
