Salary:
up to AED 20,000 per month The Role The successful candidate will have a strong background in interior fit-out and will be responsible for both pre
- and post-contract commercial activities, from tender pricing and estimating through to variations, valuations and final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate tenders, BOQs and detailed cost estimates Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements Obtain, review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations Prepare detailed pricing and tender submissions Monitor project costs and commercial performance Manage variations, claims and additional works Prepare interim payment applications Manage subcontractor valuations and payments Assist with final accounts and project close-out Maintain accurate cost reports and commercial documentation Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors Provide commercial input throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
5–10 years experience as a QS or Estimator within Dubai fit-out/construction Strong interior/residential fit-out experience Proven experience in tender pricing and estimating Strong knowledge of BOQs and quantity take-offs Good understanding of UAE material and labour rates Experience managing variations, claims and final accounts Experience with interim payment applications and subcontractor valuations Strong commercial and negotiation skills Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors
