Mirfa International Power & Water Company (MIPCO), Mirfa, Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesPurpose of the Job:The Control Room Operator (CRO) ensures safe and efficient operation of the power and water plant, optimizing plant performance and maintaining all control systems to meet commercial and environmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
Enforce Health & Safety policies and monitor contractor complianceOperate plant equipment and respond to emergenciesConduct predictive and preventative maintenancePerform calibration and repair of instrumentation and control systemsMaintain operational efficiency and cleanliness of the facilityOperates in a high-risk, hazardous environment. Must use full PPE and comply with safety protocols. Job is classified as high-risk according to international safety and
Experience:
Bachelor's Diploma/degree in one of the following fields:Electrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringChemical EngineeringInstrumentation & Control Engineering, Or other relevant engineering disciplinesShould have 3-5 Years / 3 years field or Plant control panel experience in Power Plant Operations. Maintenance experience is also considered for the roleSkills:Proficiency in English, Arabic is a plusStrong communication and teamworkComputer literate with diagnostic tool proficiencyKnowledge of safety, environmental, and emergency response practicesUphold MIPCO's values, promote positive communication, ensure safety, and support local workforce development.

The normal
working hours
is 02 morning & 02 nights shift of 12 Hrs. each and followed by 04 days week offs.
Must be flexible with day or night shiftReady to be located near site during the shift days.
