Job Description
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work within a banking environment, transforming data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and analytical reporting. You will leverage Qlik Sense extensively to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions aligned with business requirements. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data teams, and IT functions to ensure accurate, timely, and secure reporting. You will also work with SQL-based data sources and contribute to analytics initiatives that support strategic decision‑making. This is a stable, permanent opportunity for BI professionals with strong banking exposure in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense Translate business requirements into effective analytical and reporting solutions Perform SQL‑based data analysis and reporting Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of BI data outputs Collaborate with business users and data teams to support analytics needs Support ongoing enhancements and optimizations of BI solutions Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards in a banking environment
Required Qualifications & Skills
4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles 3–5 years of strong hands‑on experience with Qlik Sense (mandatory) 2–3 years of experience working in the banking domain Strong SQL reporting and query development skills Solid understanding of BI concepts, KPIs, and data visualization best practices Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills Good communication and stakeholder interaction abilities
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with Power BI Exposure to enterprise data warehouses and financial datasets Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments Knowledge of data governance and reporting standards Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting requirements
