As a Financial Planning and Analysis Associate for Zimmermann you will be responsible for providing financial support for the management of the P & L and Balance Sheet for the Middle East region.
Your responsibilities will include the below:Month EndAssist in the completion of month end close in a timely and accurate mannerSupport in reviewing assigned monthly P & Ls providing commentary on key variances to budget forecastCheck assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations in a timely and accurate mannerLiaise with internal stakeholders on key variances and forecastsLiaise with and provide support to Chalhoub Group's Accountants as requiredBudgetWork with internal teams to gather and consolidate budget data and supporting informationCompile and format financial budgets in line with internal templates and reporting requirementsCommunicate budget updates assumptions and timelines to internal stakeholders ensuring timely follow-upUpdate budget trackers ie marketing travel retail miscellaneous and circulate to relevant stakeholdersBoard meetings 3YPSupport Finance Manager and General Manager in the preparation of board meetings by updating & compiling various templates and support in preparing board presentationsYear End AuditSupport Finance Manager during the year end audit process as requiredIndirect TaxesAssist with the preparation of indirect tax calculations and returns across allocated geographies including but not limited to GST VAT WHT & Sales TaxSupport the Finance Manager as requiredYou have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar commercial finance role. You have a solid FP&A experience, including budgeting, reporting, tax calculations, invoice booking, and payment processing. You have advanced knowledge of MS office, particularly in Excel. You preferably have experience in SAP. You possess a high level of enthusiasm and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You are an effective communicator. You possess a hands-on proactive approach and the ability to work in a team environment.
