Coordinate activities of departments such as manufacturing, engineering, planning, maintenance, supply chain, R&D, Quality and Stores /warehouse to effect operational efficiency and economyNew projects/ building R&D managementBudget and cost control managementNew process and systems developmentPlant expansion and long term investment managementDevelops and implements departmental policies and proceduresResponsible for effective handling of major import/export activitiesHealth safety and environment procedures complianceParticipates in the planning and formulation of company strategy and the implementation of departmental action plansManages and appraises staffRequirementsMin. 5 years experience in similar positionMin. 5 years sheet metal experienceUniversity degreeERP systems (ie Oracle, SAP)Knowledge of Industrial SafetyKnowledge of Quality controlGood in MS Office knowledgePresentation skills
