The position is suitable for a qualified Islamic Studies educator with strong knowledge of UAE Islamic B curriculum expectations, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to student development.

The Islamic B Teacher - Student Learning will support students in understanding Islamic values, ethics, worship practices, Quranic themes, Seerah, Islamic history, and responsible behavior in a respectful school environment. The teacher will plan meaningful lessons, assess student progress, use engaging classroom strategies, and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of Islamic B curriculum delivery.

• Deliver engaging Islamic B lessons aligned with UAE curriculum requirements and British curriculum school expectations.
• Teach Islamic Studies to non-Arabic speaking students using clear communication, structured activities, and age-appropriate resources.
• Help students develop understanding of Islamic beliefs, values, manners, worship, moral conduct, Quranic concepts, Seerah, and Islamic history.
• Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, worksheets, digital resources, assessments, and learning materials that support student engagement.
• Use differentiated teaching approaches to support students with varied learning needs, abilities, and language backgrounds.
• Assess student learning through oral responses, class tasks, homework, projects, quizzes, written work, and formal assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attainment, attendance, feedback, and classroom performance.
• Create a respectful, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discipline, confidence, curiosity, and moral development.
• Work collaboratively with subject leaders, coordinators, teachers, and school leadership to support curriculum planning and academic improvement.
• Communicate professionally with parents and guardians when required regarding student progress, learning expectations, and support needs.
• Use educational technology and digital tools to make Islamic B lessons more interactive and accessible.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, Islamic activities, assemblies, inspections, and professional development sessions.
• Promote UAE values, tolerance, cultural respect, responsible conduct, and positive student behavior across the school community.
• Follow school policies related to safeguarding, inclusion, assessment, behavior management, and student wellbeing.

• Master's degree in Islamic Studies.
• Teaching qualification or certification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic B curriculum requirements in the UAE.
• Experience teaching Islamic Studies in a British curriculum school will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with academic teams and school leadership.
• Strong lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and academic documentation skills.
• Ability to teach Islamic values in a respectful, inclusive, and age-appropriate manner.
