Senior Finance Transformation Lead – SAP

- Finance Transformation; AP, AR, GL; R2R, FP&A, O2C; SAP FICO; ERP Transformation As a Finance Consultant within our growing CRL Practice, you will help clients transform and modernize their finance function through process improvement, ERP-enabled transformation and operating model will work closely with CFOs, finance controllers, shared services leaders, business stakeholders and technology teams to design and implement solutions across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting and period-end close processes.
This role requires a strong combination of finance domain expertise, consulting capability, SAP FICO knowledge and stakeholder management.
You will support large-scale ERP transformation programs, finance process assessments, fit-gap analysis, testing, training and business adoption activities.

Key Responsibilities
1.
Program Delivery & Leadership Lead finance process assessment, optimization and transformation initiatives across AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Close, Rebate Management and Reporting.
Facilitate workshops to capture business requirements, pain points, process variations and future-state improvement opportunities.
Design future-state finance processes, Target Operating Models (TOM), governance structures and KPI frameworks.
Support ERP transformation initiatives involving either of SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP ECC FICO, Oracle Fusion or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
Drive process standardization, automation, controls enhancement and operational efficiency improvements across finance with business and IT teams to ensure finance requirements are translated into scalable ERP and digital solutions.
Support fit-gap analysis, solution validation, testing, training, cutover planning and business adoption activities.2. Governance, Risk & Compliance Expertise Ensure finance processes are aligned with organizational policies, accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Identify process risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities across AP, AR, GL and close processes.
Support controls design, audit readiness, approval workflows, segregation of duties and compliance to finance governance frameworks, master data governance, reporting discipline and performance management routines.
Support period-end close optimization, reconciliations, intercompany accounting and management reporting improvements.3. Sales & Growth Leadership Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, solution design, work breakdown structures and effort finance transformation assessments, ERP fit-gap analysis, operating model design and business case development.
Participate in client workshops, solution walkthroughs, executive presentations and ERP demonstration discussions.
Develop finance thought leadership and best-practice assets across Retail, Consumer Goods, Logistics, Automotive and Distribution sectors.
Mentor junior consultants and support finance transformation capability development within the practice Our CRL practice in EMEA, with over 150 specialists, supports large global companies and most recognizable local brands in solving their most significant challenges around industry verticals – Consumer Goods; Retail (includes Automotive Retail); and Logistics (includes shipping, ports).
In ME, we have a high performing team with focus on manifold growth in 2026-30.
The teams are ably supported by our specialist team based in India, with over 300 consultants.
