The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Production Operations
Operate and monitor manufacturing machines to ensure smooth production processes. Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and production adjustments as required. Monitor production parameters including material usage, weight distribution, and product quality. Ensure production schedules are followed to meet operational targets.
Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor mechanical repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process-related issues. Make machine adjustments to optimize performance and reduce downtime. Support machine changeovers and equipment setup activities when required.
Quality Control
Perform regular quality checks throughout production shifts. Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications. Monitor material consumption and support waste reduction initiatives. Maintain accurate production and performance records.
Safety & Compliance
Follow company safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Report workplace hazards, incidents, and equipment issues promptly. Participate in 5S workplace organization and continuous improvement programs. Ensure assigned equipment operates safely and efficiently at all times.
Continuous Improvement
Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity. Contribute ideas for operational enhancements and cost reduction. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
Eligibility Criteria Required Qualifications
Technical Diploma, Vocational Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Electrical certification is considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the plastics manufacturing industry. Experience with blow moulding, injection moulding, or plastic processing equipment. Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Experience handling production machinery, utilities, and manufacturing infrastructure.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of plastic engineering and manufacturing processes. Understanding of toolmaking, mechanical, and electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues effectively. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft operating systems. Strong communication skills in English. Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
