Job Description
Lead the Log-out / Tag-out office and coordinate all permit to safe work on the and manage safety documents (Safe systems of work) applicable to electrical activities on site. This shall include Switching schedules and Permit system.
Keep records of all permits, conduct site inspections, and take the lead regarding the safe isolation of equipment.
Prepare and conduct training of personnel onsite in view of Authorization to conduct specific activities under the Electrical and Mechanical safety rules. Endorse the role of SAP (Senior Authorized Person) for LV systems.
Permanent coordination with Commissioning Engineers to ensure all works is conducted safely.
Ensure that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirement and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS.
Ensure that adequate precautions are taken to provide safety from the system whilst construction / commissioning work is carried out.
Responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work wherethis might be compromisedEnsure that relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and, in consultation with sitemanagement, HSE and Commissioning team, that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable.
Coordinate with the Site Manager / Commissioning Manager/ Site HSE Manager on all site related activitiesDeliver Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projectsParticipate in site meetings and work closely with Commissioning to ensure full understanding of the testing program. Qualifications Experience as LoTo coordinator in Industrial PlantsExperience as site electrical supervisor within construction or related fieldDegree in Electrical or equivalentSAP operational safety trained with a recognized training body or equivalentExperienced in HSEQ and requirementsFamiliar with Electrical and mechanical Safety rulesSite Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalentValid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass, CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalentGood working knowledge of Microsoft suite applicationsMinimum 3 years site experience as an active LoTo Additional Information Solution orientatedGood forward plannerGood communicatorAbility to present ideas effectivelyAble to evaluate ideas of othersNegotiation skills For HR agencies: Please note that we do not accept applications coming from agencies.
