As a Joinery Production Manager you will oversee the entire production process ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves managing a team of skilled carpenters, painters, and general workers while coordinating with other departments and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Team Management: Lead and supervise the production team including jointers, carpenters and other staff.
Production Planning: Plan and schedule production activities to meet project deadlines.
Quality Control: Ensure all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Process Improvement: Monitor production processes and implement improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordination: Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed.
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for the production team.
Problem‑Solving: Resolve any production issues or delays promptly.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joinery Production Manager or in a similar role.
In‑depth knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and techniques.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in production management software and tools.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production environment.
Relevant qualifications in carpentry, joinery or a related field.
