As an API Platform Engineer supporting Dicetek in the UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise API platform architecture, gateway management, banking service domain integration, and cloud-native deployments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, securing, and maintaining enterprise API gateways utilizing Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management, or equivalent platforms, implementing banking API architectures aligned with BIAN standards and major digital banking transformation initiatives, authoring and publishing OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications for standardized microservices integration, securing API endpoints utilizing modern authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC), provisioning and managing containerized deployment environments utilizing Kubernetes and OpenShift, authoring and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates and CI/CD deployment pipelines utilizing Git, collaborating closely with cross-functional software architects, business analysts, and security squads, integrating approved AI engineering tools to accelerate API development and troubleshooting, and managing application requirements by sending your updated CV via direct email to Vinita S Divekar at . • Design, architect, develop, configure, and manage enterprise API gateways using Kong, Apigee, or Azure API Management.
• Implement robust banking API architectures aligned with BIAN standards and digital banking transformation roadmaps.
• Author, publish, and maintain standardized API specifications utilizing OpenAPI and AsyncAPI definitions.
• Secure API ecosystems utilizing modern authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
• Provision, configure, and scale containerized application platforms utilizing Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Build, monitor, and optimize automated CI/CD deployment pipelines and Git version control workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, API development, and platform engineering.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on professional expertise in enterprise API management platforms (Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management).
• Comprehensive working knowledge of banking API architectures, BIAN standards, and digital banking transformation domains.
• Deep practical proficiency in API specification standards including OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Swagger, and RESTful design principles.
• Solid practical experience in securing distributed architectures utilizing OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and mTLS.
• Proven expertise in container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC).
