ResponsibilitiesLead the design and execution of real-world evidence studies across natural history, comparative effectiveness, HEOR, treatment patterns, and external control armsPartner with the commercial team on client and business development calls and execution of client-facing data and analytics services deliverablesLeverage AI tools to drive efficiency across the research workflow, from protocol structuring to output generationDesign and operationalize the plan to scale the research team, including headcount growth and SOPsCollaborate closely with the data team on end-to-end delivery and mentor future scientific hiresContribute to publications, conference presentations, and other scientific communicationsRequirementsMaster or PhD in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, or a closely related field7+ years of RWE research experience in a pharma services, CRO, or health tech settingDeep familiarity with real-world data sources (EHR, claims, registries) and core study designsExperience engaging directly with pharma clients across medical affairs, HEOR, and clinical developmentStrong command of causal inference methods (propensity score methods, IPTW, G-computation)AI-forward mindset with active use of AI tools for scientific productivityPublished track record at conferences and in peer-reviewed journalsPreferred QualificationsExperience in oncology, CVRM, or rare disease RWEExposure to regulatory-grade RWE for FDA or HTA submissionsPrior experience in an early-stage or startup environmentBenefitsCompetitive base salary ($160K-$200K)Meaningful equity in NovelliaMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k)Flexible time offWellness stipendUp to 12 weeks of parental leave
