We are seeking to appoint an Teacher of Mathematics to join our team in August 2026.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes innovation, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, supporting whole-school initiatives and events.
Uphold GEMS policies, procedures, and core values at all times.
Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to support student development.
Engage in continuous professional development and performance management.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent.
Teaching qualification mandatory
Strong classroom practice with proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
Willingness to contribute to wider school life and professional learning culture.
