- MEP Fit-OutLocation: Dubai, UAEIndustry: MEP / Fit-Out / Technical ServicesEmployment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for MEP fit-out projects from mobilization through completion and handover.
Plan, manage and monitor project execution, programme, manpower, materials and resources.
Manage and coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire-Fighting works.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, WIRs and technical project progress and ensure works are completed within the approved programme, quality and project requirements.
Manage subcontractors and ensure site activities are executed as per approved drawings and and resolve technical, coordination and site-related issues.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, authority inspections, snagging and final handover.
Ensure proper project documentation, O&M manuals and as-built drawings are completed for handover.
Key RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or MEP Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of relevant MEP project experience, including UAE experience.
Strong and mandatory MEP Fit-Out / Technical Services experience.
Proven experience managing complete MEP fit-out projects from mobilization to handover.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire-Fighting systems.
Experience managing commercial, retail, hospitality, office or residential fit-out projects.
Strong experience in project planning, site execution, subcontractor management and consultant/client with testing, commissioning, authority inspections, snagging and handover.
Strong knowledge of MEP drawings, project documentation, RFIs, WIRs, material submittals and method authority and consultant coordination experience will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
ImportantCandidates with only civil construction, general contracting, developer-side, design-only, or fire-fighting-only experience will not be considered. Relevant MEP Fit-Out / Technical Services project management experience is mandatory.
