We are seeking an experienced Consultant/Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing surgical treatments for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, utilizing cutting-edge techniques to deliver excellent patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with gastrointestinal conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of gastrointestinal surgeries including minimally invasive and complex procedures.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care in coordination with multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to patients and families regarding surgical options and recovery.
- Engage in clinical research and continuous professional development to stay abreast of advances in gastrointestinal surgery.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain meticulous medical records.
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- Licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in gastrointestinal surgery.
- Strong surgical skills with proficiency in minimally invasive techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
