ResponsibilitiesOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end to end, including GL operations, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews under US GAAPResearch and document technical accounting positions including revenue recognition (ASC 606), business combinations (ASC 805), and internal-use software (ASC 350-40)Lead the financial reporting process, support external audits, and build the internal controls frameworkManage intercompany accounting and consolidated financials across domestic and international entitiesScope and implement accounting systems including ERP tools and automationPartner with legal, product, and business development on new initiatives such as product launches and M&A activityDefine and document accounting policies for crypto-native platform activityRequirementsActive CPA license required8 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth private or public company environments3+ years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferredDeep technical GAAP knowledge with ability to research complex topics and write clear memosExperience leading close processes in high-transaction-volume environmentsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceProficiency with modern finance tools (Ramp, Brex, or modern ERP)Strong Excel modeling skillsPreferred QualificationsDirect experience with crypto accounting or digital asset platformsSQL skillsExperience with international accounting, multi-entity consolidations, or M&A transactionsBenefitsCompetitive salary & equityUnlimited PTOFull Health, Vision, & Dental coverage401k matchHardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
