QAQC Inspector

QC Inspectors at the site are responsible for performing inspections and tests on facade installations and other construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications. This role involves checking workmanship, documenting findings, and coordinating with site teams to address quality issues. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections on facade installations and other site activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. Perform tests to verify installation quality, including alignment, fit, and finish. Identify defects and non-conformances, reporting issues to the Team Lead and initiating corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspection results and quality data. Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and engineers to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. KRAs and KPIs: 1. Inspection Accuracy and Quality Compliance KPI: Accuracy in identifying installation defects (measured by defect rates and client feedback). KPI: Compliance with site inspection protocols and quality standards (measured by audit results and process outcomes). 2. Non-conformance Reporting and Resolution KPI: Effectiveness in reporting quality issues and participating in corrective actions (measured by issue resolution rates). KPI: Reduction in recurring installation quality problems (measured by process improvements and defect metrics). 3. Documentation and Process Adherence KPI: Accuracy and completeness of inspection records (measured by audit results and compliance checks). KPI: Contribution to quality improvement initiatives (measured by feedback and process outcomes). Qualifications: Education: Diploma or certificate in Quality Control, Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in site quality inspection. Skills: Proficiency in installation inspection techniques, testing procedures, and documentation.
