Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum facade systems using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and architectural designs.Develop bill of materials (BOMs) and material take-offs (MTOs) for facade components, collaborating with procurement teams to optimize material selection and cost-effectiveness.Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to understand design intent, identify potential clashes, and propose solutions for constructability.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of facade designs with other building systems and project schedules.Prepare submittal packages, including shop drawings, calculations, and supporting documentation, for review and approval by architects and consultants.Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the accuracy of shop drawings and address any field issues or discrepancies that arise during installation.Maintain a thorough understanding of aluminum facade systems, including curtain walls, storefronts, and other related products, as well as their manufacturing processes.Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and best practices related to facade design and construction, incorporating them into drawings and designs.Assist in the development of 3D models and renderings of facade systems, using software like Revit or similar, to visualize designs and communicate concepts effectively.Provide technical support to fabrication teams, installers, and other project team members, resolving design-related questions and providing clarifications as needed.
