Project scheduling, Site / Project Engineering & Supervision, Records upkeep etc.To manage communication between all parties involved in development, where appropriate.Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.Ensure site complies within guidelines of health and safety and security.Liaise with main and sub-contractors to ensure smooth completion of tasks and adherence to site regulations.Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site.Oversee the selection and requisition of materialsAgree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended projectManage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architectLiaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the projectLiaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-lawsCommunicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progressCarry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projectsPlan the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlinesPrepare reports as requiredResolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or a related field.3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Fitout Industry.Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites and new project site visits.(preferred)Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
