You will work closely with frontend developers, and project managers to deliver reliable features, handle deployments, and support production systems.Key Responsibilities· Design and implement RESTful / GraphQL APIs and backend services.· Build and maintain server-side applications using Node.js / Express (or Nest.js, etc.).· Design, optimize, and query databases (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).· Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, session management, etc.).· Ensure application security (input validation, access control, OWASP best practices).· Integrate with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and internal systems.· Set up and maintain environments & deployments (on-prem and/or cloud: AWS/Azure/DigitalOcean).· Work with frontend teams to support React / Next.js features and troubleshoot integration issues.· Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend services.· Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.· Provide ongoing support & maintenance, including bug fixing and performance tuning.
