Operations Director

Job Summary:

We seek a results-driven Operations Director who will lead and scale our end-to-end operations, ensuring seamless supply chain management, manufacturing efficiency, and outstanding order fulfillment across e-commerce and retail. This strategic leadership role will oversee the full value chain, from demand forecasting and procurement to factory operations and last-mile delivery, aligning all operational touchpoints with business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Supply Chain Integration:

* Align the commercial and factory planning processes to ensure synchronized demand and supply planning.

* Bridge the gap between commercial forecasts and production realities.

* Establish unified KPIs across demand planning, purchasing, production, inventory, and delivery to improve visibility and accountability.

* Drive integrated S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.

Factory & Production Operations:

* Oversee the full operation of the manufacturing facility to ensure production output meets sales forecasts and delivery timelines.

* Improve production planning, workforce efficiency, and throughput using lean manufacturing principles.

* Drive operational excellence through KPIs, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and sustainability standards

E-commerce & Retail Fulfilment:

* Oversee order fulfilment operations for e-commerce and physical retail channels, ensuring fast, accurate, and cost-effective delivery.

* Manage warehouse operations, shipping partners, and last-mile logistics.

* Collaborate with tech and CX teams to optimize fulfilment processes for speed and customer satisfaction.

* Ensure scalable logistics infrastructure for future geographic and channel expansion.

Purchasing & Cost Optimization:

* Overhaul purchasing processes to improve transparency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

* Work with purchasing teams to reduce cost of goods (COGS) through smarter vendor negotiations, volume strategies, and reduced wastage.

* Monitor RM/PM sourcing strategies to ensure flexibility and resilience in supply.

Strategy, Leadership & Execution:

* Serve as the cross-functional operational lead, collaborating with commercial, finance, tech, and retail departments.

* Define and track operational KPIs including OTIF (on-time, in-full), COGS, delivery SLA compliance, and inventory turnover.

* Build high-performing, process-driven teams with clear roles, workflows, and career development paths.

* Drive innovation in operational processes using cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy and visibility.

* Develop and implement sustainability initiatives across the supply chain, including ethical sourcing and waste reduction.

* Develop a resilient and agile supply chain, crafting contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity during supply chain disruptions.

* Manage the operations budget across the value chain functions by optimizing OPEX and making data-driven CAPEX investments to ensure maximum ROI and support for business growth.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years in operations leadership roles across beauty, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.

* Proven success in managing cross-functional supply chain teams.

* Strong analytical, cost control, and negotiation skills.

* Experience in production environments, Retail and e-commerce logistics.

* Clear understanding of how to align planning, manufacturing, and fulfilment into one agile, data-driven system.

* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team development abilities.

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

* High integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
