We are seeking a skilled and versatile Electrician Cum Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both electrical and plumbing tasks, providing support across a variety of maintenance, installation, and repair activities. The position requires someone with strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Work:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including circuit failures, power outages, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure electrical systems are compliant with safety standards and local regulations.
  • Perform electrical testing and inspections.
  • Install and replace electrical fixtures, lighting, outlets, switches, and other electrical components.
  • Maintain electrical panels, switches, and distribution boards.
  • Plumbing Work:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, water heaters, and fixtures.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and faulty pipes.
  • Install new plumbing lines, fittings, and fixtures in new construction or renovation projects.
  • Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and other potential issues.
  • Ensure all plumbing systems are compliant with health and safety regulations and local codes.
  • General Maintenance:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Respond to emergency calls for both electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an electrician and plumber, with certifications in both fields preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in various environments.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training or certifications in electrical and plumbing fields preferred.

Physical Requirements:
