Senior Manager – Investment Planning

What you'll deliver

  • You will lead the development of investment proposals, including Investment Briefs, Business Cases, Change Requests, and Benefit Reviews, for all programmes and projects within Dubai Airports' portfolio. By creating a multi-year investment plan aligned with long-term strategic goals, you will ensure the ongoing evaluation of the portfolio to meet evolving business needs.

  • In summary, you will be working closely with business owners and SMEs, you will ensure investment decisions are based on accurate and comprehensive documentation.

  • You will guide business units through the corporate investment process, supporting Project Sponsors and SMEs in preparing governance documents required by the corporate boards. As well as manage portfolio prioritization to keep investments aligned with Dubai Airports' strategy and objectives.

  • You will produce regular status reports on business case development and provide updates on portfolio performance to internal stakeholders. Furthermore, the Senior Manager Investment Planning will prepare corporate board meetings which includes updates on the performance of the current portfolio and developing future portfolio plans. A critical element of this is to manage the ongoing portfolio prioritization where key initiatives are selected for delivery from the wider portfolio pipeline. The role also works with the Department Head to translate DA Strategy into a multi-year Investment Roadmap.

What you bring

  • You'll be educated to a degree Level with a specialization in Finance, Investment, Management or Economics.

  • You'll have an overall of 10-12 years' experience with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.

  • You'll have thorough knowledge in business case writing, cost benefit analysis, portfolio management incl. prioritization, data management and project management.

  • You'll have experience working with senior level stakeholders internally and externally.

  • You'll have knowledge of project management methodologies and systems.
