The MEP Technical Manager
is responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction or facilities projects from design through execution. This role ensures that all MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, and maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety while meeting project timelines, budgets, and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage all MEP design and execution activities on projects.

* Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.

* Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural disciplines.

* Monitor project schedules, ensuring timely MEP execution in line with the overall project plan.

* Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.

* Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC).

* Conduct site inspections to verify quality, progress, and adherence to specifications.

* Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

* Evaluate and implement value engineering proposals to optimize cost and performance.

* Prepare reports, technical evaluations, and risk assessments for MEP systems.

* Support procurement with technical specifications and vendor evaluations.

* Train and supervise MEP engineers and site staff.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

Experience:
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in MEP management within large-scale construction projects. Proven experience in high end projects that include hotels , Villas, Residential & commercial buildings

CORE TECHNICAL Skills:

(Knowledge of the below skills is mandatory)


•
HVAC - Air Ducting (G.I and Puf), Heat Load calculation, Chillers (air & water cooled, pumps, Cooling tower, AHU, MAHU, FAHU, Ecology Units, FCU, ERV ,DX units ,Air & dirt separator, Scrubber, HRW ,VAV,CAV ,lift well pressurization fan ,BMS, CFM ,hydraulic calculation .


• Electrical & ELV – Diesel Generator, Transformer, LV Panel, HT Panel, Structured cabling, Active component, security system, intercom, GSM , radio tetra, AV ,PA system, BGM, Digital signage, Car park management & guidance system, hearing loop, server racks, Flood detector, fire detection system(VESDA), fire alarm system (speaker, smoke detector),IPTV, GRMS, Home Automation, gate barrier, hydraulic bollards , Ticketing system ,fire panel installation and BMS interface.


• Plumbing - Installation of sanitary ware, domestic pumps, gas fired boiler, heat exchanger, software system, centralized hot water system , drainage system, gas fired boiler, grey water system, water supply, STP Installation, and operation (MBR with UV system) and solar system installation. Firefighting, Foam deluge, FM 200 , clean agent , fire pump room , wet & dry riser , breaching inlet, hydraulic calculation, sprinkler (upright, extended, concealed, pendant, side wall).
