Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Fire Fighting Technician with hands-on experience in fire protection systems and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driving license, be capable of working independently, and have a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and system installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire fighting systems (sprinklers, hose reels, pumps, fire extinguishers, etc.)
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents related to fire protection systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and functional testing of fire safety equipment.
- Work closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure proper integration during fit-out works.
- Ensure compliance with local fire safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, Civil Defense).
- Prepare daily work reports and communicate job progress.
- Travel to various project sites (valid driving license required).
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in fire fighting systems installation and maintenance.
- Prior experience in fit-out projects is mandatory.
- Familiarity with fire alarm, suppression, and protection systems.
- Must hold a valid UAE (or relevant country) driving license.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication skills and team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in fire protection systems or related technical field.
- Knowledge of local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Civil Defense or equivalent).
- Experience in both residential and commercial fit-out projects.
