As a Consultant/Specialist Pediatric Dentist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat dental conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents. Your duties will include developing tailored treatment plans, performing dental procedures, and educating both patients and their families about maintaining optimal oral health. Your expertise will help create a comfortable dental experience for children, fostering a lifelong appreciation for dental care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of pediatric patients.
  • Diagnose dental diseases and conditions specific to children.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans for young patients.
  • Carry out restorative and preventive dental procedures, including fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
  • Provide guidance to children and their families on proper oral hygiene and nutrition.
  • Monitor the growth and development of children's teeth, providing ongoing assessments.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
  • Completion of a residency in Pediatric Dentistry and board certification.
  • Active and valid dental license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in providing dental care specifically for children.
  • Strong knowledge of child behavior management and pediatric dental treatment protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with children and their parents.
  • Ability to create a friendly and supportive environment for young patients.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality dental care.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working with diverse healthcare professionals.
