We're Hiring: Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out (UAE)

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to lead our Estimating and Procurement functions within the interior fit-out division. This is a hands-on commercial and technical role focused on delivering accurate cost control, competitive tenders, and efficient procurement to support successful project delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the Estimating and Procurement functions
  • Review BOQs, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate costings
  • Validate tender submissions and ensure pricing reflects practical buildability and production methods
  • Identify risks, cost gaps, and value engineering opportunities
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor enquiries, negotiations, and comparisons
  • Oversee procurement schedules to ensure timely material and subcontractor awards
  • Prepare, negotiate, and submit accurate interim and final payment applications
  • Ensure timely certification and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Develop and maintain standardised estimating templates and processes
  • Ensure all commercial decisions support project delivery, quality, and margin targets
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Production, and Project Management teams
  • Support continuous improvement across estimating and procurement workflows

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related Construction Qualification
  • 5–10+ years' QS/estimating experience in interior fit-out or joinery
  • Strong technical understanding of materials, joinery, and construction methods
  • Proven ability to produce accurate estimates and manage procurement effectively
  • Proficient with AutoCAD (reading/interpreting), estimating software & MS Excel
  • Strong negotiation, commercial judgement, and supplier management skills
  • Detail-driven, organised, and able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities
