Job Summary:

The Sales Accountant is responsible for managing and recording all financial transactions related to sales activities. This role ensures receiving and timely processing of LPOs, accurate invoicing, timely collections, reconciliation of customer accounts, and preparation of sales-related financial reports while supporting the finance team in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive LPOs and process the LPOs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Record and reconcile daily sales transactions in the accounting system.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with customers for payments.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to verify sales orders, discounts, and pricing.
  • Maintain accurate customer accounts, credit notes, and payment records.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  • Reconcile bank deposits against sales collections and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and other statutory accounting requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to sales and receivables.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to sales transactions.
  • Collaborate with the finance and sales departments to streamline processes.
  • Perform other related accounting duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Accountant, Accounts Receivable Accountant, or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, ERP/accounting software, and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with invoicing, receivables, and VAT/tax compliance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2, AED4,000.00 per month
