Agile Delivery Lead

Reports To: Digital Strategy and Governance Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi

Candidate Requirement: Arab Nationals or Arabic speakers (due to business requirements)

Role Purpose

Owns end-to-end agile delivery of digital products by combining delivery leadership with business analysis expertise. Drives value-focused outcomes by aligning stakeholders, managing requirements, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring predictable delivery. Acts as a bridge between business and technical teams to enable seamless execution, process improvements, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery for agile squads using Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies: planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document requirements as epics, features, and user stories.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA to ensure testability.
  • Maintain and prioritise backlogs in partnership with the Product Owner.
  • Manage risks, impediments, dependencies, and cross-team alignment.
  • Map business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Track delivery KPIs (velocity, cycle time, quality metrics).
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices.
Technical & Business Competencies
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and agile scaling practices.
  • Solid business analysis skills: process mapping, requirements elicitation, documentation.
  • Ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent agile lifecycle tools.
  • Basic understanding of application architecture, APIs, and system integrations.

  • Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management.
  • Outcome-driven with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a structured approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in digital/IT delivery combining Business Analysis and Scrum roles.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM/PSM) or Agile Business Analysis certification preferred.
