Role Overview:

Drive technical sales and customer support for power solutions with strong
presales and aftersales expertise
. Ensure technical specifications and submittals meet project, tender, and authority requirements and secure approvals. Develop
cost-optimized, sustainable energy solutions
tailored to customer needs. Combine technical knowledge with commercial skills to deliver value and long-term partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Solid understanding of power generation system design
    (diesel generators)
    , application and engineering to provide solutions to customer needs.
  • Must acquire and analyze customer needs and its technical problem, making recommendations to the team to satisfy needs and develop power generation solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive site visits and attentive to details.
  • Conduct research and analysis in order to find the best-fit components suitable for integration into systems based on the application, operation profile, operational conditions and mission of the final products stipulated by the customer / consultant / end users specifications.
  • Implementation of simulation and sensitivity analysis for each proposed selection in order to reach to the best fit with the required performance.
  • Support the sales team with the technical marketing intelligent.
  • Design / Configure power generation sub-systems, automation systems and components (LV / MVSwitchgears, Control panels, ventilation system, fuel system etc.) meeting the project/tender requirements.
  • Configure the system integration and specify the specifications to suppliers.
  • Verify sub-suppliers technical proposals and its compliance with the project/tender requirements.
  • Creating power generation system operation philosophy.
  • Prepare technical submittals of power generation solutions and follow up technical approvals.
  • Present technical features of power generation solutions to customer / consultants / end users.
  • Prepare the final BOM to the suppliers prior to place the orders.
  • Upon receipt the order; hand over the project technical aspects and requirements to the project-processing engineer with formal MOM to be attached in the project master file.
  • Develop sustainable energy solutions including development of standard designs, detailed BOQ, level costing,
  • cost roadmap and cost-optimization plan.
  • Solid understanding of sustainable energy solutions design to provide solutions to customer needs.
  • Develop templates for quick commercial evaluation of project opportunities including CAPEX, OPEX estimations, cash flow analysis for project financing.

Self Management Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis in order to find the best-fit components suitable for integration into systems based on the application, operation profile, operational conditions and mission of the final products stipulated by the customer / consultant / end users specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in power generation projects, including design, calculations, and configuration
  • Hands-on commissioning skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Ensures tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly
  • Established network within the industry, especially with consultants and end users
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Immediate contributor with the ability to work independently without extensive training
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
