Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our Bridge Maintenance team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing bridge maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily bridge maintenance activities on-site
  • Manage and motivate work crews to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor hours, and material usage
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi
  • Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to improving work processes
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs for bridges
  • Assess bridge conditions and recommend necessary repairs or improvements
  • Stay updated on the latest bridge maintenance techniques and technologies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman or in a similar leadership role in the Infrastructure Maintenance industry, with a focus on bridge maintenance
  • Valid UAE Driving License
  • In-depth knowledge of bridge maintenance techniques and best practices
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
