Job Brief:

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation across the organization. This role focuses on building advanced machine learning solutions, developing robust APIs, and leveraging state-of-the-art Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize advanced statistical and machine learning (ML) models to solve complex business challenges.
  • Architect and implement robust, scalable APIs for model deployment and data services, following best engineering practices.
  • Lead end-to-end data science and GenAI projects, from ideation and prototyping through scaling and production deployment.
  • Apply advanced GenAI techniques, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and continual optimization.
  • Integrate and operationalize LLMs in real-world applications, using frameworks such as LangChain, HuggingFace Transformers, and vector databases for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Mentor and support junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data and GenAI solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, reproducibility, and compliance with engineering and data governance standards.
  • Participate in client-facing consulting engagements, providing expert advice and solutions based on data science and AI insights.

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data science roles, including API development for machine learning systems and pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting or client-facing roles is preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Python with proven ability to build and consume RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience developing, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs and other GenAI models (e.g., GPT, Llama), including prompt engineering and scalable training pipelines.
  • Familiarity with ML operations (MLOps) practices, deploying models to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and using GenAI ecosystems such as LangChain and HuggingFace.
  • Experience delivering production-grade GenAI solutions with focus on efficiency, explainability, and real-world impact.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Arabic language proficiency is a strong plus.

Preferred:

  • Experience with distributed training, model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation), and multimodal AI systems.
  • Proven ability to productize GenAI and NLP solutions end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with latest trends in retrieval-augmented generation, agent architectures, and model security
