Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lifting Supervisor, based in Abu Dhabi. The Lifting Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all lifting operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and efficient execution of tasks on-site. Daily responsibilities include supervising lifting crews, planning and supervising lifting operations, inspecting lifting equipment, implementing best practices, and ensuring safety guidelines are adhered to at all times. The role also involves regular communication with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supervising lifting operations and working with various types of lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to lifting activities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to guide lifting teams effectively
  • Proficiency in planning and executing lifting activities with attention to detail and adherence to timelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
  • Relevant certifications such as Lifting Supervisor Course or equivalent safety training
  • Prior experience in an on-site supervisory role, preferably within construction or heavy industries
  • Basic computer literacy to handle reports and documentation
