Civil Site Inspector - 18 month contract

Overall Work Tasks

We're looking for a Civil Site Inspector to join our team on-site in Abu Dhabi as part of the Owner's Engineer team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assure that the EPC Contractor is keeping an organized and updated databook of the project, including all the construction documents, notwithstanding executive projects, site test inspections (as required by the Quality Assurance Plan)
  • Evaluate and assure that Contractor keeps register change requests in the executive projects as required by the Contractor during construction, to ensure that all modifications are included in the As-Built Projects
  • Develop disciplines MC plan based on ITPs and construction schedule.
  • Review MSRA/QCP/ITPs within their disciplines
  • Monitor construction activities with focus on First Off
  • Attend to the inspections in accordance with QCP/ITPs
  • Raise punchlist/NCR as applicable
  • Participate in pre-job meeting with EPC Contractor
  • Participate to weekly site quality meeting

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5 to 10 years of site experience in PV Plants
  • Understanding of QA/QC, HSE, and construction management practices
  • Proven experience in PV Plants in GCC
  • Ability to work independently on-site and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in working on site
  • Good knowledge of English in writing, speaking, and listening
