The Team

The Infrastructure and Capital Projects (Infra) team focuses on improving return on investment capital and reducing the risks specific to capital projects. The Infra team is built on deep industry sector expertise with a demonstrably differentiated ability to address the most complex business problems and by supporting our owner/operator/contractor clients, Alvarez & Marsal's ultimate goal is to reduce the level of uncertainty associated with the development and operational costs of your projects, contributing to greater shareholder value drawn from procurement through execution and asset management through different solutions.

How you will contribute

A&M continues to expand in EMEA, and we are looking to recruit a Director / Senior Director, with background in real estate and public sector, to be based in our Abu Dhabi office. Working with some of the industry's brightest and most experienced colleagues, you will:

• Lead the execution of work fronts with expertise, identifying improvement initiatives and actively engaging with the client in all phases of the project.
• Lead meetings and presentations with both client and A&M's managerial and executive levels, demonstrating confidence and mastery of the topics discussed.
• Assume a leadership role with teams and clients while effectively guiding project delivery, participating in effective negotiations and collaborations between leaders.
• Build, develop and nurture strong client relationships, seeking to understand their needs and contributing to their satisfaction.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships for business growth
• Participate in industry events and associations to broaden professional connections and identify potential growth avenues.
• Work with a creative mindset to co-create solutions and offer innovative approaches to address client challenges.
• Drive project analyses, propose actionable plans, and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities.
• Take advantage of industry network and influence to identify and develop new business opportunities for A&M Infra and other Business Units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or a related major.
• 8+ years of Middle East experience in business development within real estate and/or public-sector large-scale project management with deep expertise in the delivery of major complex capital projects is required.
• 8+ years of experience in consulting firms, with strong business acumen and self-propelled entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate to senior members of management, client representatives and colleagues

• Arabic language skills are required.
• Ability to facilitate analysis to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making.
• Highly analytical and conceptual
