Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Geotechnical Engineer
to support and manage geotechnical investigations, site supervision, laboratory coordination, and technical reporting. The role involves extensive fieldwork, data interpretation, and preparation of geotechnical reports in compliance with
UAE regulations and international standards
.

Location: Al Ain, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise borehole drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing (SPT, plate load test, etc.).
  • Monitor and verify field activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Review and interpret field logs, laboratory test results, and geotechnical data.
  • Prepare and contribute to geotechnical investigation reports, including conclusions and foundation recommendations.
  • Coordinate with drilling contractors, laboratories, and site teams to ensure timely execution of works.
  • Support responses to technical comments from consultants, clients, and authorities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with
    HSE requirements
    during all site activities.
  • Assist in planning investigation programs and optimizing testing scopes where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Geology
    .
  • Minimum
    5 years of professional experience
    as a Geotechnical Engineer.
  • Minimum
    5 years of UAE experience
    (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and geotechnical practices.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good understanding of geotechnical investigation methods and reporting.
  • Ability to interpret soil profiles, laboratory results, and site conditions.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on site and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in report writing and basic engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Office).
