We are looking for a Lead Subsea Pipeline Engineer on behalf of our Oil & Gas client in Sharjah, UAE.

Key Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering, Preferred Master in Subsea or Ocean Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related Oil and Gas industry experience preferable from a background in working for consultancy organizations / EPC of the Oil and Gas Industry. A minimum of 10 years of experience within the offshore oil & gas industry working for Offshore Engineering consultants / EPCI Contractors. Experience in Subsea Pipeline DNV suit / Stablelines / FATFREE / CAESAR / Autopipe Stress Analysis
  • Conversant with the relevant international codes & standards such as API, DNV etc. Familiar with Oil and Gas Company's standard such as Saudi Aramco's Standards, ADNOC Standards, SHELL DEPs, BP Guidelines etc.
  • Software Knowledge - CAESAR, DNV Software, Mathcad, SAGE, AGA, ABAQUS
  • Design calculation and studies-Subsea Pipeline - On-bottom stability assessment, Wall thickness calculation, Pipeline Thermal Expansion, Crossing analysis
  • Design calculation and studies-Subsea Cable - Route selection and optimization, Crossing design, on bottom stability analysis, allowable free span
