Policy Programs Manager, Africa, Middle East, and Turkiye

Meta is seeking a Policy Programs Manager to join the Africa, Middle East, and Turkiye (AMET) Policy Programs team within Meta's Public Policy organization. The Policy Programs team is responsible for designing and executing regional campaigns and programs that leverage Meta's platforms, products, and reach to promote social and economic outcomes, while supporting an enabling policy environment.We are looking for a candidate who will be the primary point of contact for programs across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), while also driving innovation programs across the broader AMET region. This includes developing and executing programs that support developers, startups, skills development, and our broader work on innovation and emerging technologies. The role reports to the Director of Policy Programs for Africa, Middle East and Turkiye. Candidates will gain a deep understanding of the policy challenges Meta faces in the region and contribute to driving economic empowerment, innovation, and community building. They will have the opportunity to leverage and further develop their program design and management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills in a cross-functional environment. This role offers the chance to hone communication, organizational, and budget management skills while independently managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Policy Programs Manager, Africa, Middle East, and Turkiye (AMET) Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of tech and innovation programs across Africa, Middle East and Turkiye, including program plan design and cross-functional team collaboration
• Serve as the go-to owner for all MENA policy programming and program priorities, owning the plan, calendar and program status, and ensuring effective go-to-market strategy, execution, and reporting
• Design, develop, and execute programs aligned with Meta's priorities and objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Work with internal stakeholders, collaborating with Policy, Communications, Marketing, Partnerships, and other teams to ensure program success
• Manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation, tracking, and reporting of resources
• Oversee program and partner management by identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with key program partners and organizations
• Drive plan and impact reporting by developing, implementing, and communicating relevant reports on program progress, outcomes, and impact

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience, with a focus on project/program management within the field of technology, AI, or innovation
• Experience working across Africa, Middle East, and Turkiye (AMET)
• Understanding of the policy landscape across the region
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in organization, planning, and execution, with high attention to detail
• Experience working collaboratively across teams or organizations
• Experience in strategy development and program design
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Able to travel frequently across the region

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing multi-country, multicultural, or multi-lingual projects
• Experience in Marketing and Communications
• Fluency in Arabic
