The Role

We are now seeking a
Vice President of Finance
to elevate our fund management, decision-making frameworks, and financial operations as we continue to scale our full-stack venture strategy across vintages.

The Vice President of Finance is a
hands-on operational and analytical leader
responsible for ensuring financial precision and operational excellence across BECO's funds and management company. Reporting to the Managing Partners, this role leads a small, high-performing finance team and partners closely with the investment team and firm leadership to strengthen BECO's financial operations. The successful candidate will build and refine scalable processes, analytical tools, and reporting frameworks that improve visibility and support data-driven decision-making for BECO across fund pacing, valuations, liquidity management, and portfolio performance. They will also uphold best-in-class standards in fund administration, investor reporting, audits, and compliance, while continuously driving efficiency and automation across financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Fund & Corporate Finance Leadership:
  Lead financial management activities across BECO's fund entities and management company. Overseeing BAU processes including, but not limited to, budgeting, audits, forecasting, capital planning, and management company structures & compliance. Support the team in building scalable, tech-forward processes for operational excellence.
• Strategic Finance:
  Develop analytical best-in-class frameworks to inform critical investment and fund management decision-making such as DPI & IRR balance, fund optimization, exit discipline, and return analysis. Additionally, establish strategic relationships with partners such as banks, brokerages, and tax advisors to advance the firm's institutionalization.
• Support in Investor Reporting & External Communications
  : Support with LP communication by providing insightful finance views for regular and ad-hoc investor meetings and reporting cadences. Liaise with investor finance teams, auditors, and legal counsel with clarity, accuracy, and credibility. Translate complex fund dynamics into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Team & Process Leadership:
  Lead and develop a lean, high-performing finance team with a strong culture of ownership and excellence. Instill high precision, speed, and accountability in all reporting cycles and operational processes. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across financial workflows.

Experiences and Skills

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years of finance leadership experience within private equity or venture capital.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with prior experience in a large, structured finance organization.
• Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong command of FP&A, fund accounting, and financial modeling.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and executive stakeholder management – able to articulate complex financial insight in a digestible form to enable efficient decision-making.
• Obsessive attention to detail and high personal accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with speed and accuracy in high-stakes, time-sensitive contexts.
• Intrinsically process-driven and desire for operational excellence.
• Familiarity with UAE / GCC fund structures and regulatory environments is a bonus.
• Technologically curious — confident with advanced spreadsheets, fund administration systems, and affinity to explore new tools to drive efficiency.
