The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all facility-related functions. This includes managing building systems, vendor coordination, maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role requires a proactive professional who can ensure smooth day-to-day operations while optimizing resources and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily facility operations including housekeeping, security, maintenance, and support services.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Supervise vendor performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Plan and oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and space management.
  • Monitor facility budgets, control expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate emergency response and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Manage inventory of facility-related equipment and consumables.
  • Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and costs.
  • Lead and motivate facility support teams to deliver high standards of service.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: University Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: years of experience in facility management, preferably in a corporate or industrial setup.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety).
  • Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office tools.
