The Junior Inventory Controller will be responsible for assisting in the effective handling, monitoring, and control of inventory across a wide range of SKUs. This role ensures accurate stock management of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, and chemicals, supporting smooth production and dispatch operations within the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions in the system.
  • Support the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods as per company procedures.
  • Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile variances with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure availability of materials required for production and dispatch.
  • Assist in proper labelling, identification, and segregation of various product categories and SKUs.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams for smooth flow of materials.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of materials, especially chemicals and sensitive products.
  • Prepare basic inventory reports and assist in month-end stock reconciliation.
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines in all inventory activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations (preferably in manufacturing or 3PL environment).
  • Basic knowledge of ERP/Tally or similar inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication skills (English and Hindi is a must).
