Currently, PES ENGINEERING has 8 offices in Italy: HQ in Rosignano Solvay (LI), Livorno, San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Vibo Marina (VV), and Gela.

Abroad, PES ENGINEERING is present in three countries (UK, Romania, UAE). In addition, a series of strategic partnerships, signed on virtually every continent, support the company in carrying out multidisciplinary engineering, service, service management, inspection & expediting, and recruitment & hiring of local personnel.

Position:

We are looking for a Field Instrument Specialist with the following requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Calibration: Perform routine checks, testing, and calibration of sensors, transmitters, valves, and controllers.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with control loops, field devices, and associated computer/microprocessor systems.
  • Installation: Set up new instruments and control systems for various measurement and analysis needs.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) regulations and industry standards.
    System Support: Maintain systems for gas analysis, flow measurement, pressure/temperature/level monitoring, and leak detection.
Requirements:

Essential Skills & Knowledge

  • Technical: Deep understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, PLCs, and control loops.
  • Environment: Ability to work in challenging oil & gas settings (onshore/offshore).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex technical issues.
  • Industry Standards: Knowledge of safety protocols (DSEAR, HSE) and operational procedures.
