Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities :
- Prepare / Review to submit Baseline Programs and other schedules to the Engineer. Manage planning engineer team members.
- Implement and agree with Engineer on performance measurement criteria (e.g., Earned Value, Weightage, Commodities KPIs) and other schedules.
- Prepare / Review to continuously monitor the major construction progress against approved schedules, and ensure equipment and manpower are adequate.
- Raise concerns and report any potential slippage and / or deviation from the critical and longest paths to the Project Manager.
- Prepare and submit the recovery schedules with the help of Planning Engineer.
- Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work on SITE is complying with approved schedules, major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to the Concerned Project Manager and Construction Managers.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and dashboards as required by the Engineer / Employer, including the integrated planning/scheduling contribution to the weekly / monthly project report and specific reports/presentations
- Review all daily, weekly, and monthly reports and submit to Project Manager for any deficiency or non-compliance.
- Prepare and Submit Extension of Time claims by conducting detailed delay analysis (Prospective or Retrospective), prepare full EoT claims report.
- Review field design changes and Trend Notices and analyze time impact if any.
- Advise the Construction Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken.
- Attend weekly progress meetings and monthly Executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda.
- Reviews the T&C plans and ensure its compliance with the approved Baseline schedule.
- Standardizing processes for closing out and taking over stages of projects to ensure seamless transitions and Engineer / Employer satisfaction
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or having related higher master's degrees preferably Civil Engineer.
- A qualified Engineer with a minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience in Main Contractor (Villas and High-rise residential/commercial buildings) as a Sr. Planning Engineer.
- Must be fully conversant with Primavera, Power BI, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, etc.
