Summary

We are seeking a talented
MicroStation Draftsman
with experience in master planning and infrastructure layout development to join our planning and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality drawings, masterplan layouts, and design documentation using MicroStation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D masterplan drawings, including land use plans, road layouts, plot divisions, open spaces, utilities corridors, and other planning elements using MicroStation.
  • Translate conceptual sketches, planning schemes, and engineering inputs into clear and precise masterplanning drawings.
  • Coordinate with urban planners, architects, engineers, and project managers to develop integrated and coherent masterplan layouts.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, local regulations, and relevant planning standards.
  • Maintain drawing organization, file management, and version control for all project deliverables.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback from planners, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with drafting guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing presentation plans, diagrams, and illustrative layouts when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of drafting experience, preferably in masterplanning, urban planning, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation (V8i / CONNECT Edition) and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of masterplanning components including:
  • Road and street network layouts
  • Plotting and parceling
  • Right-of-way and easement considerations
  • Land use planning principles
  • Ability to interpret planning sketches and technical data accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawings simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
