Job Description

  1. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and work instructions to perform point-to-point wiring.
  2. Assemble the wiring components within the panels according to the layout drawing.
  3. Perform cable stripping, crimping, dressing, termination and proper labeling of wires.
  4. Ensure proper cable routing and an orderly fashion for all wiring to meet safety standards.
  5. Conduct visual inspections to confirm proper assembly and wiring before QC checks.
  6. Troubleshoot and identify faults in wiring and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  7. Maintain accurate records of assembly, wiring, maintenance and testing activities.
  8. Assist in the commissioning and testing of new switchgear installations on client sites.
  9. Adhere strictly to HSE standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  10. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.

Skills

  • Ability to read and understand the wiring drawings and BOM.
  • Competence in using crimpers, wire strippers, impact drills, torque wrench etc.
  • Proficiency with multimeters, clamp meters, phase sequence meters etc.
  • Strong understanding of HSE rules, safety standards and LOTO procedures.

Competency

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3 years / ITI with 5 years Experience
